Blender Game Expose 2007

Blender Game Expose 2007A very interesting list of games and interactive animations, developed with the Blender Game Engine, is available at Blender Game Exposé 2007. The list was compiled by PlantPerson, and shows some really good projects. A must see for anyone interested in the Blender GE!

Not all games are available to download, but for each project there is a page with some info about the game plot and development. If you want to check out Blender Game Expose 2007, go here.

What about you? Do you have a list of your own?

I like Sinister Plot! The comic style is quite different from game mainstream. Looks definitely great!!

What's the point of compiling that list if there are no links to their project pages or downloads?

those, I found, by googling :) (except the last one, which is found, by paging far enough ahead :) )

The others, I wasn't able to find :S

    Great list :D

Great compilation! But, it definitely needs some links to really be considered a resource. Right now, it's a bit of a tease that leaves you wanting to try a game out or at least track its progress.

Most of these games are not available yet, and few even have any "project pages" per se. Sinister Plot, for example, debuts with this article, and many others, such as Don Kishot, have only made brief appearances in the past (in the Screenshot Extra Extra thread for example). The fact that most of the games do not link elsewhere is not entirely an oversight, most of them simply would have nowhere to link to.

    Plantperson:
Ah, ok, that makes sense, thanks. Well, I will look forward to these games progressing, especially Sinister Plot!

Great article. I had no idea there was so much work going on that involves the blender GE.

This is exactly like the page that I found a lot of older games on like Indian Joe. It does a better job by linking to forum pages that might live on for a tad bit longer but it really SHOULD mirror downloadable files that available because it's proven by the old blendergames.com that eventually no one can find that old game and all you're left with is a tiny 80 pixel screenshot.

Thanks for the positive comments roofoo and carlinhos! We definitely appreciate it!

But anyways, yea, we plan on starting a dev thread for Sinister Plot over at blenderartists.org later this week, along with possibly a dev diary over at gamedev.net. So, whenever I get off my ass and post it, I'll make sure to leave another comment here with a link to the thread, for those who are interested.
