A very interesting list of games and interactive animations, developed with the Blender Game Engine, is available at Blender Game Exposé 2007. The list was compiled by PlantPerson, and shows some really good projects. A must see for anyone interested in the Blender GE!
Over at our friendly neighbours at BlenderArtists.org, Calvin has been working steadily on modeling one of the cutesy characters from the Peach concept art. Read the thread to see his progress – there's lots of .blend files of the rigged model to download. And if you're like me you'll also have a good laugh at the Hamstinator and ChocoHamster ;-) Cool work!

Last week the Peach team got together in Amsterdam for a pre-production workshop. Ton has posted a nice write-up on the event on the Peach blog. You can find a couple of pics in the Media section. Of course, I was on holiday and couldn't pay them a visit. Bummer.
There is a new web resource for Blender, called Blenderguide. The main objective of this new resource is to collect and categorize websites which talks about Blender. A lot of good links are already available there, all categorized and rated by users. It`s a good place to find tutorials and other stuff related to Blender.
This is my interview at SIGGRAPH 2007 with the founders of AnimationMentor.com, Bobby Beck, Shawn Kelly and Carlos Baena at their booth. AnimationMentor.com is the online character animation school where all the instructors are working studio animators.
Another two sets of tutorials are available at Blender Underground. Now they have part 2 and 3, covering more basic aspects of Blender.

Most Blender users already had some kind of smoothing problems. With these users in mind, Olivier from Feeblemind has published a tutorial, teaching how to solve smoothing problems. The tutorial is very instructive and a must read for new users. Some of the subjects of the tutorial: Normals, Double faces, Set Smooth, Set Solid, Auto Smooth and the Edge Split Modifier.
There are a lot of ways to publish animations to the web, like YouTube. But now we have another option in Blender, there is a Script that can export a scene to HTML, and with animations. How? The scene is translated to javascript!
