Blender Trainings in Vienna

vienna.jpgAn inconspicuous post in our Event Calendar in February led to a flood of reactions: Karl Kühberger was organising a Blender Workshop in Vienna but it was meant only for teachers. Many Austrian Blender users were interested in attending such a workshop and now Karl is ready with the preparations to do just that!

Karl writes:

In February I offered a Blender Workshop in Vienna, Austria. It was targeted only to art teachers in Vienna. Because many people asked for a non school-related Blender workshop in Austria, I was looking for a possibility to get a room with enough computers. I am glad that I could rent the room in the school where I teach. They have 15 new 20″ iMacs and a beamer. In May and June I would like to offer to Blender Basic Workshops, each one day long. More information.

Karl currently offers two workshops: Blender Modeling I and Blender Modeling II, with Blender Animation I and II in preparation. The workshops are on Saturday, May 12th and Saturday, June 2nd and they cost € 85,- per day.

      Zazie und quequ777 neh´men mir beide das Wort aus dem Mund (oder aus den Händen? xD), wobei ich zwischen den beiden seiten hin und her gerissen werde…
      Aber gut: Freizeitausgleich….

      Mal schaun, bin noch nicht sicher, ist wirklich ziemlich teuer…

      oh it would be great to give a blender-training in marseille! find a room with computers, organize flight and accomodation, and I come ;)
      but seriously spoken: wouldn’t it be easier to look for a french-speaking guy to do this? there are great blenderheads in france. my french consists of maybe 10 or 20 words and my English also isn’t really fluent, as you can see in my postings.

      habe für alle, die gleichzeitig zwei tage buchen noch einen rabatt und eine überraschung hinzugefügt (siehe meine hp). viel billiger kann ich es leider auch nicht machen, weil ich auch miete bezahlen muss und die gewissenhafte vorbereitung für einen eintägigen kurs ja auch normalerweise 2-3 tage in anspruch nimmt. außerdem arbeite ich mit kleingruppen, wodurch eine intensivere betreuung und ein schnellerer lernfortschritt möglich sind.
      aber im vergleich zu einem x-beliebigen word-, powerpoint- usw. kurs bei einer volkshochschule oder im wifi, sind meine kurse doch sehr günstig, oder?

      Erstmal finde ich es toll, dass du tatsächlich so schnell etwas in die Wege geleitet hast! Klingt auch ziemlich gut, was du anbietest, vor allem Modul 2 sieht für mich sehr, sehr interessant aus.

      Zum Preis denke ich, dass er in der Tat echt fair ist, vor allem auch im Vergleich zu anderen Kursen, wie du richtig sagst. Darum bin ich schon sehr optimistisch, dass ich dabei sein werde, es ist nur die Frage, wie es mit der Uni aussieht. Ich werde an diesen Samstagen auch auf mein Aikido Training verzichten müssen, aber man kann eben nicht alles haben ;)

      Aha! Gut!
      Aber viel ringen wird’s mir nicht….
      Modul 1 brauch’ ich nicht: Die Punkte, die du aufgezählt hast, kann ich schon :D

      Modul 2 ist sehr interessant und die Module 3+4 (Mit Anims kann ich derweil noch garnichts) sind sicher auch toll!

      Wahrscheinlich hast du recht mit dem Preis, weis ich jedoch nicht, weil ich noch nie auf slólch einem Kurs war… Nach wie vor: Mal schaun.

      Insgesamt aber auf jedenfall ein muss, wenn endlich einmal ein Kurs in meiner Nähe statt findet :D

      there have been blender classes in paris in Ecole Centrale d’Electronique (ECE) (an engineering school (university)) provided by association Ecequisse :

      it seems that those classes have been restricted to ECE’s students’ till now
      I do no know what are the association’s plans for teaching outside of the school (and I am not a member of Ecequisse ; just one student in the school), but you may contact them at [email protected]

      I know… Paris is not Marseille…
