Blendiberia 2007

For the last five years, a group of Spanish users has met every year in a different location in Spain. During each meeting, some people give lectures and tutorials in order to approach the newest features of Blender to others.

Many of the lectures turns on several other themes linked with the CG world (such as psychobiology of the perception, state of the enterprises and employ in Spain, dedicated hardware, and so on). For instance, this year we have a “making of” of the sixteen years old Pepius WIP called “Naruto”, a practical example of using the sculpt tool by high-experienced Caronte, or a lecture about the internal behavior of the physics of photons.

The most wanted lecture of this year comes by the hand of Claudio Andaur “malefico”, one of the creators of the long animation movie “Plumíferos”, that will come from Argentina to Castellón de la Plana, courtesy of the Universitat Jaume I of Castellón.

In addition, we could talk with Daniel Martínez “Pepeland”, a very famous Spanish animator, who is currently being attracted by the Dark Side of the Blender’s Force ;)

The meeting will be celebrated in the University Jaume I of Castellón de la Plana, Spain, from the 13th to the 15th of April, inside the annual Free Software meeting called iParty, that celebrates its ninth edition.

Cheers!
