Sebastián Arias wrote to us about his Spanish Dub of Elephants Dream. Now my Spanish doesn't go much beyond ordering food and drinks, but from what I've seen so far they've done a great job! You can view their work on YouTube, or download the full DVD version from their website.
Here's the team:
- Emo: Leto Dugatkin
- Proog: Gustavo Bonfigli
- Direction: Sebastián Arias
- Sound Engineer: Javier Mestrovic
As a bonus, Elephants Dream will be shown on Argentinean television on February 4th in a program called "Telefe cortos" on TELEFE.
Their connection isn't very fast, but they're offering a Torrent file as well. I'll keep mine running for a few days just to help them along - please do the same!

Very nice Dub! Good work! Now i get the end much better.
Nice dubbing! Good choice of voice actors.
It's fascinating how you can always spot something new in Elephants Dream. If you are observant, you can see a couple of tiny side plots going on.
Very well done!
Cool. BTW, great new banner graphic!
Yes, is a very good dub. I really liked it.
And about the extra news: The show Telefe Cortos already aired Elephants Dreams a couple of monts ago. It was the original version with subtitles.
It would be nice if they air the dubbed version this time.
Here's the previous Telefe Cortos presentation of Elephants Dream:

Check out the amazing opening speech... The guy liked ED a lot!
For those that don't know this: Telefe is one of the main TV channels in Argentina and the guy presenting the show is a well known movie critic (he reviews independant movies mostly).
P.s.: Askimet is blocking my other e-mail address. Please check the askimet queue and allow me (I'm not able to comment in any wordpress blog becouse of this. I don't know why)
@Gez: sorry about that, I don't know why akismet picked you out. We go over the spam inbox manually each day so we'll fish out the mistakes :) (On a sidenote, we crossed the 40,000 spam messages boundary today)
I'll pick this up just to help out with seeding. Torrents can be a pain when no one seeds. The university's internet here will help plenty ;)
would be a great idea if they share the spanish audio archive, in mp3 it would be 10 MB more or less, much shorter than the whole movie. So the people that already downloded the english version, could make a dual version using Virtualdubmod, for example.
JPerez mp3 is a good idea. But the audio in the DVD version is AC3 5.1
MP3 alone will be great... you can watch the movie with media player classic (cool single .exe player for windows) and load the mp3 right the way to replace the original audio, even 5.1
