I have a LONG history with Blender - I wrote some of the earliest Blender tutorials, worked for Not a Number and helped run the crowdfunding campaign that open sourced Blender (the first one on the internet!). I founded BlenderNation in 2006 and have been editing it every single day since then ;-) I also run the Blender Artists forum and I'm Head of Community at Sketchfab.

  1. Too bad they've misspelled the name of the car I've submitted

It should be Renault Scenic (and not Renaul Senic as they wrote).

  2. Thanks for magazine and tutorial's.

But it's a shame they only published a few works in the gallery. In others numbers we can see more of the work of blenderheads.

  3. Thank you to all involved in the magazine program. It is a great resource. As my skills improve, I will begin to submit content to try and repay the knowledge that I have gained from the Blender community. Thanks again!!!

  4. madman: we used to put in all images that were submitted, but decided after awhile that some of the issues were more gallery than magazine and so chose 10 as a good number. It would showcase what some of our community was doing without overloading download sizes.

It also adds a little prestige to those picked to be in the gallery. ;)

Although I do agree, it was fun to see all submitted images every issue.

  5. Appreciation and congrats for a great issue, thanx for all the effort.
Waiting the announcement letter every day since 1.st january to appear in my mailbox. :-)

  6. Wow! Car Modeling. Now thats something that I lack. I definetly going to go check this issue out.

I remember my brother trying to model a car using bluprints. I dont think he got far with the detail though.

oh bye-the-way. Today is my birthday! I am now 3 years old!

    ...

    just kidding i'm 14 now
