Blender.org Gallery Updated: December 2006

74cf4a2e97.jpgGroo has been busy - not only did he finish his Advanced Fluids DVD, but he also updated the Blender.org gallery again. Go on and enjoy the best of December's Blender art!

My favorite this month is Bassam Kurdali's 'Tube', which at the same time is one of the ghastliest Blender images I've ever seen. I know he has been working on this one for a LONG time and the result is an amazingly rich image that just begs me to watch it and discover more details or meaning.

    The Tube is really well done, but a bit hard !

    Why are the pictures of criss in there? I don't think they're special

    There are some images I would like have in the gallery instead

    I think I like tube the most, a lot of detail.

    Not as amazing as tube*drool* or the christmas pic*drools more* but hey,

    Sweet, The gallery has been last updated only a month ago! This is Awesome.

    I dont think I agree with you,Kram1032, I think these are somewhat better than last month's.
    Those are some very fine pictures.But then again, The last update was excellent too.

    I remember "Tube" from Bassam's website and he had a version of it with EXTREME detail. Of course, then it would
    be 5x larger! I still love the organic skill that Bassam has shone in it!

    Tube is done very well, but it's not my taste…
    I prefer more peaceful pics, like zen….
    Last time, there have been more pics, like I like them.
    This doesn't mean, that I don't like those from this update. They are very good as well.
    Those, I liked from last update are (Ordered from bottom entry to top, not a valuing order)

    Trapped in Time
    Crashed Ship
    Hall of Glory and
    Union Pacific Big Boy

    I guess none of you noticed Bust & Buterfly (very fresh); ChairScape is superior though.
