Excellent sculpt image.
Maqs at the Subdivisionmodeling forum has posted some incredibly detailed examples of using Blender sculpt.
Browse through the entire thread as there are a couple of sculpt images. And a little progress image demonstrating his workflow can be found on page 3.
What I find most amazing is the system that Maqs is using:

And if you’d like to give the new sculpt functionality a try. Just download the latest Blender 2.43RC1.
I downloaded the RC1 yesterday. I have to admit the sculpt in here has nothing in common with previous sculpt version…
Only complain I would have is that I wish the middle mouse scroll would increase decrease the brush size :P (I tend to have this silly reflex… wonder why)
Why not make a :
scroll up : increase brush size
scroll dn : decrease brush size
shift + scroll up : increase strength
shift + scroll dn : decrease strength
Otherwise, nice grumpy character… And nice PC rig too…
Does the sculpt tool use the pressure of my tablet? That’s something I really love in Gimp and Inkscape.
Aw: If we would scroll to increase the size when how should we zoom?

Try the F key to adjust the brush scale.

This is an excellent model, but it ain’t the only sculpt model I’ve seen. There are a lot more Blender sculpted models. I like the old man a lot more than this one. You can see him on the wiki. Only his neck looks a bit weird. But I’m not old so I don’t really know how that looks.
I’m going to test is myself.

The old man sculpt with blender and gimp is much nicer I feel.

lol, i saw the thread while browsing the sdm.com forum.. woha.. was i suprised to see the user use blender! ^^
As one of the mods over at SubD, I encourage anyone wanting to improve their modeling skills to join and participate. We are a non-app-specific site and try to encourage the promotion of general modeling knowledge. At least 2 of the mods use Blender and another one uses Wings3D.
I was happy with my sculpted monster until I saw these examples :p

Sculpt Mode is really good!
In the past, I thought that this kind of tool was only usable to make terrains. I see that it has been improved at an incredible level of efficiency !

Dohhh… I’m a windows user and more than 500000 polys simply STOPS my AMD 3.2+, 1GB RAM, ATI Radeon 9600… And if i add one more subdivision level – an exeption appears…
