Blender presentation in Brno, Czech republic

Jan Kalab will be doing a presentation on Blender on the Linuxalt conference in Brno, Czech republic on either november the 4th or the 5th. He didn’t reply to our inquiries for further details so you’ll have to go with this ;-)

I have a LONG history with Blender - I wrote some of the earliest Blender tutorials, worked for Not a Number and helped run the crowdfunding campaign that open sourced Blender (the first one on the internet!). I founded BlenderNation in 2006 and have been editing it every single day since then ;-) I also run the Blender Artists forum and I'm Community Lead at n8n.

I’m sorry I din’t replied, probably my spam filter is too paranoid :/
So… Blender will be presented 5th november from 9 to 11 PM local time. It won’t be anything advanced, just showing that we can make nice 3D graphics for free.

Sorry, time will be 10–12 AM :) and in break at about 11 AM will be running Elephants Dream. Oh, and probably a bad news for you: the presentation will be in czech language.
