Student Graduation Film: "The Asylum"

igor_05_trouble.jpgA congratulation to Neils Philipsen aka MadMesh for completeing his student film graduation project "The Asylum." This is a black & white film in the style of the old classic Frankenstien's Monster films and a bit Tim Burton with music was composed by Sidhartha Barnhoorn.

All of the 3D work was done in Blender 2.41 the compositing work was done in After Effects.

The Story: Afgelegen is an institution that is under the guidance of an eccentric psychiatrist who has a craze for electroshock therapy. After intensive experimenting, the professor discovers his patient is gone; He then turns to his assistant . . .

    Very good film. The dramatic story and the music match good with the b&w concept.

    Your work looks brilliant & im probably gonna get moaned at here for bein in the wrong place but please please can someone answer this for me-is there any way I can add material/colour only to Selected Areas instead of the whole object?
