Blender has long been a loose confederation of artists, programmers, and hobbyists. And with Blender becoming more and more powerful, people, schools, and studios are beginning to have the need and desire to use Blender in their organizations. However, there is often a great hurdle that must be overcome with Blender: Learning how to use it.

Translating & Proof Reading BlenderArt Magazine

Blender CAVE Development Sprint Project
We’ve previously posted about “The Sprint” which is a project to get Blender to work in a VR/CAVE environment. Now the Blender Sprint project has set dates and is calling for participation.
The Sprint is set for September 21st through 25th, 2006. With the dates set, you can start checking your calendar and applying for a spot on the project which will be based in Innsbruck, Austria.Â
Short Film: “Little Fairy”

Tile Roof How To
TomLog over at BlenderArtists recently posted a really good video tutorial on how to make a Spanish style roof tile and then repeat the shape across an entire roof quickly and easily.
