Blender Game Engine Demos

Game DemosInterested in seeing how the Blender Game Engine (GE) works? Well, BlenderNation has compiled a small list of available resources that feature various GE demos and tutorials just for those trying to learn more about using Blender for game and architectual development.

Blender Artists Forum contains several resources by artists such as blendgine, icesw, lemmy, Siegel, DanyAlejand, jrt, john, gargola, Abracsis, Amiganr, Doc Holiday, and many others. Also featured are Web Plugin games and stand alone games. There are quite a few tutorials as well.

Blender3D.org features the latest demos for the new features released with Blender 2.42. Among these demos include GLSL shaders and demos that feature the new Bullet physics engine.

Geneome's (Eugene) site has a good Rigid Body tutorial for those interested in learning more about how to use the rigid body physics engine in animations.

    Great, I was looking for some references on what the Blender GE is capable of.
    Too bad 4 of the 8 links are dead, where do I report that?

    Cool to see something about the game engine again. In blender 2.25 there were a lot of demo's created as well very impressive source which won't work anymore in the current engine. I'm looking towards the Ogre integration for the graphiccal update to the engine, and hope as well the performace will be better.
    Thanks to the developers who updated the engine and brought it back. I hope we can expect some another cool upgrades as well features. :D
