Wiki Restructuring Complete

wikiredo.pngThe Blender Summer of Documentation is drawing to a close (a few loose ends need to be tied up), but already a project that was accepted outside of the main scope of the project due to it's importance is already completed.  Matt Ebb (broken) has completed his restructuring of the wiki, and it couldn't have come at a better time.

With more new users wanting to learn Blender and intermediate users relying more and more on Blender documentation to learn how to use Blender's constantly growing arsenal of new tools, the wiki's importance is increasingly growing.  With the wiki restructuring, a greater uniformity can be maintained giving users a better learning experience.

You can find a detailed look at what Matt proposed, and then accomplished, at his original proposal site, and you can also see his handy-work all over the wiki.  For those editing/adding to the wiki, check out the updated style guide and templates.

    from Broken's website:
I think the editors at Blendernation.com are stalking me. Should I be scared?

Haha. I think this restructuring really makes the wiki look much more professional. Keep up the good work, Broken.

    p.s. Gotta love the irony.

I didn't get the irony until you pointed it out - hilarious.

As for stalking Matt - it's hard not to post about him since everytime he posts on his blog or in the patch tracker he has made some massive contribution to Blender.

Oh, I love seeing contributions like these. It proves that you don't have to be a programmer to contribute to OSS.
