iso.gifAfter the highlighting of open source software at Siggraph, a conference is already scheduled in Argentina to focus on 3D animation with open source tools.

From the Plumiferos site:

Manos Digitales Animation Studio, Fundación Vía Libre, and Blender Foundation will realize a conference about 3D animation with open source tools, where they will show material from Plumíferos and the short film Elefants Dream, completely developed with open source software. Elephants Dream director, Bassam Kurdali, and Andy Goralczyk will be present. The conference will take place on August, 29th, at 7 pm, on Centro Cultural Cooperación (1543, Corrientes Av, Buenos Aires City, Argentina).
