Tutorial_Cam5.jpgAfter the release of the ClubSilo demo, we were all reminded that the Blender game engine still can rock the casbah. Lucky for us, the talented people that develop and/or use the game engine are nice enough to share tips and tricks with those who are willing to look at them.

Andrew West (ST150) has a nice tutorial on his site Blending Online. He has this listed as an advanced tutorial. From the site:

This tutorial will explain how to setup a 3rd person camera configuration which will detect collisions with walls and prevent the camera going through them. The camera will remain inside rooms and on collision with any objects will move closer to the player.
