BeagleIn the collective conscience of the Blender Nation there will always be great works that show that Blender can do the job, and do it well. Today lets take the time to view a animation triumph not only for Blender but for a well-known dog and the Rebellion!

Behold Jacob Kafka's "Beagle," which stars a 3D Snoopy who trades his bi-plane in for an X-Wing fighter to take the place of Luke Skywalker in Star Wars. Jacob Kafka (a.k.a Weirdhat is also responsible for the fantastic "Compositing CG and Live Action in Blender" tutorial. For more Weirdhat action, visit his site!

The Force is strong with this one!

Weirdhat is good in mixing 3D with Live Action
I hope he will make more 3D/Live Action films
    I can't use his tutorial because I don't have a camera :(

yes, animation is great and so is tutorial, but this article really could've dived a little bit deeper into the subject. as it is, it really didn't tell anything new to the matter.

You're right. I should have dug deeper into this. I've been more inclined lately to actually "interview" people, so hopefully these kind of stories will be more in depth. This post was more for the lots of new Blenderheads that might not have heard of this.

Thanks for the input! Love your site!
