Currently this script is NOT available for Linux and the one available DOES NOT work under Linux. Very unfortunate I must say.

Well, I think jms will understand what I really meant for sure. Never wanted to address his work as "boring", it was only an informal way to recall users' attention on Blend2POV's strongness: render animations with POVRay with almost no options to set, aka simplicity.

"Your are also free to not use PovAnim", well now there's another option, to use Blend2POV, was what the above article was all about.

Enjoy ;-)

Hello,

Blend2Pov are good news, but i think is not polite tu qualify PovAnim simply boring.
PovAnim is a tool, and it has a author which don't like to hear something like this about his work. Your are also free to not use PovAnim. Simply model directly in PovRay XD.
I'm not the author, but i respect jms a lot, because his dedication to develop "math tools" for blender. The jms's scripts are slightly rough for a newbie, but i'm sure that most of them have helped to current programmers of new blender features.

Sorry for my english, but please, pay attention to BlenderNation words also!

So lovely! I wasn't aware that RCRuiz attempts went so far! I have experience in only three 3D packages: Blender since v1.68, POV-Ray since 3.1 and more recently Art of Illusion (http://www.artofillusion.org) since 2.0, and I'm deeply in love with the three of them, and I'm really glad that someone develops some robust connectivity vetween Blender and POV-Ray. Not that I feel it is really needed (I think the internal renderer is awesome in its actual state) but surely it's a golden dream of mine!
Way to go RCRuiz!
