BlenderCE Available for Download, Splash Screen Contest

Dark PC!We reported earlier that Salvatore Russo has started a project to bring Blender back to the pocketPC. He now has a first version available for download

He writes:

I updated my blog with a first version of BlenderCE. It is only to play with for fun :=) For the moment, lot of thinks are missing and you can not render or load/save your data. But you can still see Blender running on your PocketPC.

He has also started a Splash Screen Contest on Elysiun.com so if your creative juices are flowing today, then why not give it a try?

      This is awesome, Finaly I can blender everywhere!!
      Hope this blender version is going to be as good as his big brother.

      This is incredible, think it’s possible to make a Palm OS port? Either way, it’s tempting enough to make me go out and buy a PocketPC! Heh, the next thing will be like, distribruted rendering on the pocket PCs ^^… not…. but wow, that’s a crazy idea. Anyways, that’s sweet! Very exciting!
