The price for the classes likely has to deal with renting a room etc. There was not many people when I went previously, and I think the price was well worth it myself, even if I already knew a fair amount of what was covered in the basic class. I wish I was going to be around for the advanced class but sadly I am on contract elsewhere again this time around;)

I think it's great to see enough interest to run these classes. I took some SolidWorks classes a few years ago at a "dicounted price for educators" of about $100 per day. Seems like $50 is the magic number for Blender because that's what our district settled on for our classes (Blender classes in Harrisburg, PA)

As Blender becomes more competitive, we'll have to charge more like the big boys do! (just kidding)

Why is it that every time training comes up someone comes in and says it is too expensive or hints at it. I think $50 a day is a steal.

Wow, the cost of the classes in the Midwest is much cheaper.
